Worldwide Arms Museum opens in Vung Tau (10/01/2012)

Briton Robert Taylor, 61, and his wife Nguyen Thi Bong last Saturday opened a Worldwide Arms Museum to public viewing at 14 Hai Dang Street in Vung Tau City , Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.
Covering 1,500 square meters the museum displays over 1,000 military uniforms and ancient weapons from the U.K, France, Turkey, Mongolia and China, and especially a 19th century sword collection from Vietnam’s Muong ethnic minority people.

Vietnam to launch 2nd satellite in April (10/01/2012)

Vietnam will launch its second satellite, Vinasat-2, in the third week of April 2012 as scheduled, according to the Ministry of Information and Communications.
The ministry said Vinasat-2 would be launched together with a Japanese satellite, and both are manufactured by Lockheed Martin of the US.
