Following the success of the BR-VT Fisheries Innovation
Contest over 4 years (from 2020 - 2023), the Department of Science and
Technology continues to coordinate with the Directorate of Fisheries and
the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. The province, relevant
units and businesses organize the implementation of "BR-VT Fisheries Innovation Competition 2024".
The competition is organized to find and develop innovative technological solutions aimed at enhancing the value chain to solve problems in the seafood industry supply chain (exploitation, farming, processing and commercialization of seafood products) that has the ability to develop into good products, start-up projects, and technology enterprises. In 2024, the contest attracts projects and ideas to participate in 02 competition tables: idea table (for solutions at the idea stage) and project and model table (for existing solutions, being implemented in practice). The competition also expands the number of participants for unlimited solutions from both domestically and internationally. This is also an opportunity for agencies, institutes, universities/colleges, experts and businesses to meet, connect, and develop innovative and technological solutions that can solve problems and contribute to promoting the sustainable development of Vietnam's fisheries industry.
The contest targets participants who are officials, lecturers, students/groups of students, individuals/groups of individuals, organizations, businesses with ideas and startup projects to access information about Contest and registration to participate.
