On the day of 30 October 2008, at the Vungtau High School, the Education and Training Department has organized a seminar on the special subject: “Problems of teaching the program of local philology in junior high schools of Baria-Vungtau Province”. The seminar was carried out by BA Dao Viet Hung.

The contents of the seminar include: general situation of teaching and studying local philology in the provincial junior high schools, the contents need to be interested in organizing of teaching local philology in schools such as: the selection of literary works for teaching, number of classes of the program, method of teaching…

In the afternoon of the same day, the trial teaching has been organized in Vungtau Junior High School and Duy Tan Junior High School (Vungtau City). The seminar has been received high appraisal by participated teachers and pupils.
