The purpose of the project is to complete information system of fishery management on sea in the duration of 3 years from 2009 - 2011 implemented by the Department of Aquaculture Resources Exploitation and Protection - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Accordingly, the project will focus on 3 main objectives: control position of offshore fishing boats, set up information system on fishery, seafood resources with the participation of fishing boats in improving communication system between shore and boats. In the short term; the project will give 3,000/15,000 offshore fishing boats to participate in, including fishing boats of fishers in the Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
