Culture – Tourism Festival to open in jubilant manner: Echo of Beach City

Yesterday evening, February 02, 2009 (8th of Lunar New Year) at Nghinh Phong Cape, Vungtau City, the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Culture-Tourism Festival Opening Program 2009 with the theme "Echo of Beach City" was organized imposingly in the witness of about 12,000 local audiences and tourists.

Attending the program “Echo of Beach City” with the leaders: Mr. Nguyen Tuan Minh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People’s Council of the province; Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Protagonist of Members of National Assembly of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province; Mr. Tran Minh Sanh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; Tran Hong Ha, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee with leaders of Central and local departments, sectors; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People"s Committee, People’s Council, Vietnamese Fatherland Front of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province ...

In the joyful atmosphere of the festival night, Mr. Tran Minh Sanh - Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee - delivered speech to open the Festival program. Then, Mr. Tran Van Thong, the Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism announced the typical events of Culture-Sports and Tourism sector of the province in 2009.

After the announcement of Culture-Sports and Tourism events is the program which many people expected most in the Festival Opening night “Echo of Beach City": Cannon-shooting Festival with the name “Echo of Cannon”. The staged art described in the peaceful to waving manner, then going to battle and end by the paean. The lively scene reproduced historical events.

In the scene of troop dispatch, in the rapid- fire atmosphere is sounds of resounding bursts with colourful effects of the first and second battery salvos. Together with the excited atmosphere of the song of triumph is the launcher of the third salvo to welcome victory. The sounds of cannon today are the sounds of the Culture-Tourism Festival Opening, the sounds to welcome the New Year with a new ardour that awake potentialities of sea economy; the cannon-shots affirmed determination to protect sovereignty of the sea area, spiritual island of the country that bringing the peace, prosperity for the country.

Right after the end of the third cannon salvos (9 bullets) is the music program “New day of the Beach City”. The program includes songs of the homeland, the country, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, sea, spring, love, happiness ... by singer, singer groups from Ho Chi Minh City and Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. The program was closed by the publication of Mrs World Pageant 2009 will take place in Ba Ria-Vung Tau in November 2009 and the fireworks at the short range lasted 5 minutes, promised a year with many busy events of Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
