Techmart Vietnam ASEAN+3 with the participation of countries in the region (ASEAN, China, Japan, South Korea) and other countries in the world, the Ministry of Science and Technology,  ASEAN COST+3, People"s Committee of Hanoi and  People"s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City are co-organized. Techmart Vietnam ASEAN+3 took place in Hanoi from 17-20 September 2009. This event is a practical activitiy to celebrate the 50^th anniversary of Science and Technology of Vietnam and th 1000^th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

Worthy of note is that this fair had 49 stalls from 51 units coming from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Phillipines, Singapore, Laos, China, the Republic of Korea and Japan. The ASEAN countries and their three partner countries offered many valuable technologies which are suitable for Vietnam.
46 local research institutions, 14 universities and colleges as well as 455 scientists, technologists and artisans also attended the fair to seek opportunities for trade exchange and technological transfer.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Van Lang confirmed that this fair had gained success beyond expectations, making a considerable contribution to the development of the technology market.
At the closing session of the Techmart Vietnam ASEAN+3, the Organising Board also presented the certificates of merit to 52 collectives with outstanding achievements and 114 golden cups to excellent technologies and equipments of high applicability. Total gold medal was awarded for each area are:
- Field Information Technology 9 Cup
- Field Materials-Chemicals and Environment 30 Cup
- Agriculture 14 Cup
- Field of Medicine and Pharmacy 5 Cup
- Field Automation 14 Cup
- Field Mechanic 33 cup machine
- Field of Biotechnology-Food-Processing 7 Cup
- Farmers Association Cup 2

Joined this fair, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province is represented by two units: BR-VT Urban Sewerage and Drainage Company (BUSADCO); J/V VietSovpetro.

 BUSADCO is the unique multiple Gold Cup winner Best (4 cups) in the fields of Materials-Chemicals and Environment with the following products:
- The machine-winch for cleaning drainage system

- The system for prenventative from stench and new style system for rain-water collection in street at urban areas in Vietnam

- Designing, Fabricating and applying new-style septic task in the urban areas

- The solution of fabricating, applying the tidal regulation sluice to dilute, evacuate and quick discharge out of the outlet to reduce the environmental pollution of trench, “dead” lake system.
