After-test acceptance of the research work “Security history of the South-East country during the period of anti-American resistance war to save the country (1954-1975)”

On March 19, Ministry of Public Security hold a seminar at Vung Tau City to check and take over the research work “Security history of the south-east country during the period of anti-American resistance war to save the country (1954-1975)”. Lieutenant-general, Prof, Dr Trần Đại Quang, member of Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Public Security is the Chairman of the Jury.

On March 19, Ministry of Public Security hold a seminar at Vung Tau City to check and take over the research work “Security history of the south-east country during the period of anti-American resistance war to save the country (1954-1975)”. Lieutenant-general, Prof, Dr Trần Đại Quang, member of Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Public Security is the Chairman of the Jury.

The team responsible for researching on and compiling the research work “Security history of the south-east country during the period of anti-American resistance war to save the country (1954-1975)” has fulfilled their job successfully. The work is presented in the form of book comprising 243 pages (size A4) and including four chapters, as follows: Founding a Security Agency of South-East country, holding the offensive against the enemy, contributing to defeating American strategy of “Special War” (1961-1965); Developing Security Forces, helping to defeat America Strategy of “Partial War” (1965-1968); overcoming difficulties, obstacles and hardships, consolidating the organization,  fighting against psychology warfare and “open arms” policy, contributing to defeating American strategy of “Vietnamization” (1969-1973); fighting against breaking the Paris Peace Accords, associating the whole country in attacking on and rising up, having a part in liberating the motherland (1973-1975).

The jury unanimously ranks the research work great distinction.
