On afternoon of November 09, at the Trade Center of Ba Ria town, thousands of people in the province visited the Industry, Trade and Construction Expo for Southern and Southeastern Key economic zone 2011. The opening ceremony was taken place at 17:00pm with the participation of Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry; Mr. Pham Quang Khai, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People"s Committee (PPC); Mr. Tran Minh Sanh, PPC Chairman; Mr. Ho Van Nien PPC Deputy Chairman; representatives of departments, branches of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province and other provinices, cities of the South.

With the theme "Connection for mutual development", the fair musters 588 stalls of 241 enterprises from 21 provinces, cities of the South with items: Electrical, electronics, mechanics equipment, raw materials for production, construction materials and interior decoration; the energy-saving products and environmental protection; stationery; fine art, cosmetics, agriculture products, processed foods and essential consumer goods; high-technological products and services. In addition, there are booths displayed socio-economic achievement of sectors and localities in the province after 20 years of establishment and development.
