According to Department of Cuture, Sport and Tourism, since the beginning 2011, the province has had more 19 tourism projects be agreed location. In which, Xuyen Moc district had 11 projects, Vung Tau city and Con Dao island each had 1 project, Tan Thanh and Dat Do district-each had 3 ones.

Up to November 2011, total tourism projects in province are 152 ones, total area of 3,931 ha, total registed capital of VND 35,358 billion and USD 11,966 billion. The executed capital were VND 6,300.75 billion and USD 252.46 million.
