Implement Decision No. 2136 and 2137 / QD-BKHCN issued on 15.08.2014 by Ministry of Science and Technology (S & T) to investigate the potential of science and technology and to investigate research and development 2014. On 27^th August 2014, in Ho Chi minh City, National Agency for Science and Technology Information (NASATI) opened a seminar class: Investigate the potential of science and technology of its own organizations and Survey Research and development 2014. Attending the workshop were leaders of Authority South Affairs (MIC), NASATI and 22 major units of information of southern provinces.

Attending the workshop were leaders of Authority South Affairs (MIC), NASATI and 22 major units of information of southern provinces.   

At the conference, delegates heard dissemination of survey methods and instructions for each object. Period of investigation will be conducted simultaneously all over the country, starting on 01^st September, 2014. Purpose of investigating Science & Technology potential of its own institutions to gather information about human resources, finance, infrastructure, information and other Science & Technology resources else to serve analysis, assessment of Science & Technology potential status of its own institutions for a basis to build and plan, development plan of science and technology in the country, ministries, agencies and localities.

Purpose of research survey and development is to collect information about scientific research and technological development of research organizations and development, universities, fabrication enterprises for assessing, development of policy and strategy of Science & Technology.
