On 20 August 2015, in Ba Ria City, State Agency for Technology Innovation in combination with Science & Technology Department   held Seminar “Green – Clean Technology”: Promote sustainable urban development”. The seminar is to introduce green – clean technology, orient for development and application at departments, branches at localities to promote sustainable urban development. Mr. Ta Viet Dung – Deputy of State Agency for Technology Innovation and Mr. Mai Thanh Quang – Director of Science & Technology Department chaired the Seminar.

On 20 August 2015, in Ba Ria City, State Agency for Technology Innovation in combination with Science & Technology Department   held Seminar “Green – Clean Technology”: Promote sustainable urban development”. The seminar is to introduce green – clean technology, orient for development and application at departments, branches at localities to promote sustainable urban development. Mr. Ta Viet Dung – Deputy of State Agency for Technology Innovation and Mr. Mai Thanh Quang – Director of Science & Technology Department chaired the Seminar. Participating in the seminar includes representatives of 6 companies with green – clean technology products and more than 100 representatives of the Provincial Science & Technology of Dong Nai, and units, enterprises in Ba Ria-Vung Tau.  

Declared at the seminar’s opening, Mr. Mai Thanh Quang stressed importance of sustainable development which don’t destroy landscape and environment of the locality. Apart from long-term general solutions, applying new and advanced and environment friendly technology into business and production practice and life in Ba Ria-Vung Tau is extremely important. And now, the locality is also researching and developing green technology application to improve urban landscape and environment quality.

The seminar introduced 6 new and advanced technologies inside and outside the country which has been issued with exclusive diplomas of 6 companies, ready to transfer, apply highly for localities: Planting technology without watering – exclusive invention of Fresh Green Earth Company; tree root curbing technology, keep water for trees – exclusive invention of Earth Green Korea Company; technology to control humidity, application for industry – Bry-Air American Technology; counter-flooding technology because of flood tide by improved manhole cover – Exclusive invention of Ninh Phong Company; technology to produce electricity – heating energy from garbage – European technology; technology to light, decorate public landscape using solar energy – Korean technology; backstay technology using in agro-industrial constructions building – Exclusive invention of Backstay Technology Company.  

At the seminar, guests gave opinions about 6 new technologies as well as issues relating to products, technology solutions applied practically in the locality. Mr. Mai Thanh Quang evaluated highly 6 new and advanced technologies in the seminar which brings useful information and open application-cooperation opportunities and technology innovation in Ba Ria – Vung Tau, this is the beginning for events chain and supply-demand connection held by Ministry of Science & Technology and the Provincial People’s Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau in November this year in Vung Tau city.
