On the morning of May 31, the Center for Application of Scientific and Technological Advances (Department of Science and Technology) in collaboration with the HCM City Cyber Security College held a training course on “Information security on mobile devices”. Attending the training was Mr. Nguyen Kim Truong - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, with more than 90 students who are office staff in departments, agencies, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in BR-VT province.

The training course aims to provide knowledge and skills for students about: Classifying and identifying applications installed on mobile devices; Checking permissions when installing applications on mobile devices; Guiding on installing and using security functions on mobile devices; Managing wireless network connections on mobile devices; Installing and securing accounts on mobile devices; Securing the data stored on mobile devices; Practicing information insecurity scenarios on mobile devices.

At the training, participants also practiced skills and answered questions about applications and functions on mobile devices.
