Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and Nha Trang Institute of Oceanography held a "Signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Science and Technology of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and the Institute of Oceanography of Nha Trang in the period 2020 - 2025 ”.

Accordingly, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation activities related to the construction and implementation of the Vung Tau Marine Science and Technology Park Project such as Consultancy on layout plans, design, build; organization and operation model; formulating and implementing the project on personnel of Vung Tau marine science and technology zone; providing breeding animals and transferring technology to care for animals; marine life samples, technology transfer on management and construction of marine life samples; specimen display techniques; ...

Moreover, two parties also paticipate in operating and connecting with qualified international partners in consulting, training, transferring of breeding animals and care technology; techniques for management and construction of marine species samples; providing systems of machinery, specialized technology equipment for the construction and operation of Marine Science and Technology Park ...

In addition, the two sides will coordinate to organize seasonal and themed exhibitions on the diversity of marine life; organizing seminars/ conferences to serve the marine science and technology needs of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province; cooperating in scientific research, technology application and transfer of scientific and technological research results which the Institute of Oceanography owns; coordinating the implementation of international cooperation programs in research activities, and accessing to new technologies and mastery of these technologies that the locality is interested in.

At the signing ceremony, the two sides discussed future cooperation activities and some proposals for implementation in 2021.

The ceremony took place successfully. It creates an increasingly stable and developing cooperation between the two sides.
