Online Advisory Council to determine S&T tasks in the field of Agricultural Science in 2022

On the morning of October 27, 2021, the Department of Science and Technology held an Advisory Council to determine the science and technology tasks in the field of Agricultural Science - Agricultural product preservation and processing branch - Agricultural biotechnology branch in  2022. Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh - Director of Department of Science and Technology is the chairman of the Council.

Pursuant to Notice 04/TB-SKHCN dated January 25, 2021, announcing on "Proposing and ordering scientific and technological research topics, pilot production projects planned for 2022 of BR-VT province". In 2022, in the field of Agricultural Science - Agricultural Product Preservation and Processing branch - Agricultural Biotechnology branch has all 03 proposals.

The Council is responsible for advising on determining the list of S&T tasks in the field of Agricultural Science to be implemented in 2022 accurately and honestly in accordance with the provisions of Decision No. 06/2017 / QD-UBND dated February 27, 2017 of the People's Committee of BR-VT province.

In order to advise the Provincial People's Committee to select tasks with practical contents, in line with socio-economic development strategies and plans of the province, branches and localities, the Council held a meeting to give opinions, proposals, consideration and selection for the research and implementation plan in 2022. Council members discussed, presented comments and evaluated on the urgency and objectives, contents, expected products and feasibility in future application. Council members also made recommendations on amending, supplementing and completing  the name of the task, research objectives and expected products for proposals and orders in accordance with practical requirements.

Through the evaluation at the meeting, the Advisory Council agreed on 2/3 of the proposed tasks, which is "Research on delayed ripening and prolonging the post-harvest storage time of custard apple, production process to produce custard apple to meet market standards associated with regional development in accordance with sustainable value chains" and ""Completing the technological process for the production of salicylic/chiyosan preparations to preserve the yellow rice canoe boat in BR-VT province" for inclusion in the list of proposals to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval in th near future.
