On May 18, 2022, the Center for Information and Application of Science and Technology - Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Provincial Youth Union organized thematic report class "Raising awareness about digital transformation applications in production and life for youth union members”. There were Mr. Vu Tuan Anh - Deputy General Director of Dr. SME  company along with more than 100 delegates and guests who are youth union officials, students of districts, towns and cities in the province.

Thematic class aims to foster and provide concepts and overviews on digital transformation applications serving in production and life for union members - young people to help them become confident and proactive in building production and business strategies. In addition, the class helps to grasp the necessary procedures when deeply approaching the 4.0 technology revolution, promoting the role of youth, becoming an important driving force contributing to the digital transformation process,

According to Mr. Vu Anh Tuan, Digital transformation is the process of transforming philosophies, models, principles, processes and new ways through the use of technology, tools, infrastructure and digital platforms in an organization/enterprise to create outstanding competitive advantages in the market. The digital business model includes 3 main models: platform - digital platform, subscription model and apps model. The person who leads the digital transformation for businesses is the leader and CEO.

At the report class, the youth union members heard Mr. Vu Anh Tuan presented on the importance of digital transformation and the digital transformation process in Vietnam; digital economy - digital products/services - digital startup opportunities; digital business models and good model lesson examples…
