The Fisheries Industry Innovation Final Contest in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in 2022

Following the success of the Fisheries Industry Innovation Contest in 2020 and 2021, in the series of events of the Techfest Ba Ria - Vung Tau , on December 16, 2022, the Department of Science and Technology Technology chaired and coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Vietnam Science and Technology Business Startup Fund and with the support of the General Department of Fisheries, Syenergy and development Viet company limited held the final and awarded the contest in 2022.

On the side of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, there were Dr. Vu Duyen Hai – Deputy Director of the Fisheries Department of the General Department of Fisheries. About the Department of Southern Affairs, there was Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong - Head of the Department of Scientific Management. On the side of the Department of Science and Technology, there were Mr. Pham Quang Nhat - Director of the Department, Mr. Tran Duy Tam Thanh - Deputy Director of the Department. Together with leaders of departments,  branches, universities, colleges, associations in the province and start-up support organizations inside and outside the province.

With the goal of spreading widely to the business community, individuals and groups of individuals across the country, we want to provide information on issues, challenges and potential for innovation in the fisheries industry today. Thereby, searching and developing contest solutions in the direction of solving existing limitations as well as promoting untapped potentials. At the same time, in order to find and develop technological and innovative solutions to solve problems in mining, farming, processing and commercialization to enhance the value chain and develop the industry sustainably, aquatic products have the ability to develop into good products, startup projects and technology enterprises. This is also an opportunity for individuals, businesses, students, researchers, lecturers, and technical experts at the Institutes and Universities to have the opportunity to meet, exchange and learn from each other to create new ideas. create products and solutions that contribute to the development of the fisheries industry.

In the opening speech, Mr. Pham Quang Nhat emphasized: This is a contest that will contribute to promoting the success and outstanding development of the Contest in the following years and hope that next year's contest will receive many cooperations, support from units so that many innovative applications and solutions can be successfully developed, bringing tangible impacts to the industry. After the contest, the Department of Science and Technology will continue to implement many programs and policies to support the province so that potential solutions can continue to be supported and developed.
