In order to summarize and evaluate the results of science, technology and innovation activities (Science, Technology and Innovation) of localities in 2022, implement key tasks in 2023 and the following years. On March 17, the Ministry of Science and Technology coordinated with the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province to organize the "National Conference of Directors of the Department of Science and Technology in 2023".

Attending the Conference, on the side of the leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat - Minister of Science and Technology, Mr. Le Xuan Dinh - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology. On the side of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Lam Hai Giang - Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee. There are also representatives of leaders of units under the Ministry of Science and Technology and directors of 63 Departments of Science and Technology of provinces and cities; managers working in the localities of the Departments of Science and Technology.

The conference is an opportunity for the whole industry to strengthen connection, cooperation, experience sharing, and coordination between units in the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Departments of Science and Technology, and between localities towards a common goal to implement tasks to achieve high results, promoting science and technology to contribute more to the socio-economic development goals of the locality and the country.

At the Conference, delegates were listened reports, discussion on issues such as solutions to implement the Politburo's Resolutions, implementing and developing legal documents serving the management of the industry, implementing the state management of innovation, assessing the technology level of the localities, connecting technology search from abroad… The Conference also focuses on exchanging, discussing and solving difficulties and obstacles and proposing solutions to develop science, technology and innovation in the local for the next phase.
