Held annually since 2017, this year’s event attracted the participation of leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology; the ambassadors to Vietnam of Israel, the Netherlands, and Singapore; and businesses.
The more than 100 booths at the event introduced the public to nearly 500 technologies and 300 innovative products by businesses from Vietnam and six foreign countries as well as products qualified for the One Commune – On Product programme in Hai Phong City.
The festival also featured a start-up competition, a business meeting between Vietnamese and the Republic of Korea (ROK) enterprises, and an investment conference.
According to Hoang Minh Cuong, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People’s Committee, the event aimed to provide an opportunity for technology firms, start-up businesses, and those operating in the innovation start-up ecosystem to introduce their latest projects and products, thus fostering business connection in tech innovation.
Since its first edition in 2017, Techfest Hai Phong has displayed more than 700 innovative products and hosted roughly 200 business matching events, welcoming. around 5,000 visitors at home and abroad.
