On the morning of March 13, the
Department of Science and Technology of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province held the
"Conference on transferring results of provincial level scientific and
technological research ". Attending the conference was Mr. Pham Quang Nhat
- Director of the Department of Science and Technology, along with departments,
branches, agencies, and presiding agencies and project managers; localities,
organizations, and units receiving research results.
Speaking at the conference, Mr Pham Quang Nhat said that these are scientific and technological topics that are highly appreciated, with scientific contents and practical applications; bringing economic efficiency, improving health and quality of life for people; contributing to preserving cultural identity and folk art values for the locality on the path of construction, development and integration; promote socio-economic development for people in the province.
At the conference, the Department of Science and Technology transferred four completed scientific and technological topics to localities, organizations and units in the province. These topics include:
+ Investigation of the current status of valuable medicinal plants in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province as a basis for management, use, conservation and sustainable development
+ Establishing a program to control farmed oysters (Crassostrea sp) during harvest in the Long Son area, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
+ Research, restoration and development of Chau Ro folk performing arts in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province
+ Collecting and introducing Vietnamese folk literature of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
