During the time of 18 months, working group has surveyed, invested and evaluated developing situation of traditional trade villages in the province. Based on these survey, working group has studied in total of 10 traditional trade villages scattered in the whole province and developed 5 pilot models: improve process of producing rice noodles a model of gathering rice noodle produce in Long Kien ward Phuoc Nguyen, Baria town, model of improving process of making girdle rice cake from firewood to rice husk in An Ngai commune, Long Dien district, improve prrocess of making wine from firewood to coal, use stainless steel caudlren instead of traditional aluminum one in Hoa Long commune, Ba Ria town; model of Song Cau net weaving co-operative – Nghia Thanh commune, Chau Duc district; model of marketing fine arts in Vung Tau city. Chairman of the project has proposed 9 models to the PPC, districts and trade villages to choose such as connect trade villages with tourist development, produce Hoa Long wine safely;  connect between suppliers with villages of rice noodle and wine; develop fine art supermarket, modle of fungus village, project called "gathering small scale industry", train and advise business skill project, clean salt produce project, safe shrimp paste produce project, ect., to continue to study, retore and develop long-standing traditional villages in the province.

The Scinece Council assessed this is new project that has ever studied so far, traditionla villages maintain and development is one of the essensial policy in local economic development as well as national development, though. The science council required the chairman of the project continue to study specifically to each village, propose or give specific solutions for each village development.
