In November 10, the DoST held a council for checking up a project called “Survey scientific and technological potential for ST cadres in BR-VT, propose a solution for development” chaired by Dr. Prof. Ngo Van Luoc and presided by the Association of Science and Economy.
The purpose of this project is to collect information about quantities, qualities and knowledge of S&T cadres who are working in BR-VT. Based on this, situation of those cadres is assessed to propose solutions to develop these cadres for optimal promoting S&T brain-source for socio-economic development. After implementing, study group has collected over 17.000 questionnaires for cadres who have BSc. Degrees, among those are 351 have master degrees. This is the first time, the specific lists of those who have master degrees have been announced.
The Science Council assessed that data from study results contributed for investigating knowledge of employees in the province as well as assisted competent authorities to define solutions to attract high skilled employees for socio-economic development in the time to come.
