Vietnamese atomic experts and law makers have sought advice and experience from Japanese experts to perfect the country’s atomic energy law.
A wide range of issues on atomic energy were discussed at a seminar, jointly organised by Ministry of Science and Technology’s Atomic Energy Institute and the Japan External Trade Organisation, held in Ha Noi on February 29.
Vice Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee for Science, Technology and Environment, Nguyen Dang Vang, said the seminar aimed to help complete the legal foundation for Viet Nam ’s atomic energy sector.
The seminar, part of the atomic energy cooperation programme between Viet Nam and Japan, also aimed to seek ways to boost the implementation of the Strategy on Peaceful Use of Atomic Energy up to 2020.
