After studying 30 months (from June 2005 to December 2007), studying group did some work as follow: did survey its situation, investigated longan in the large scale and small scale; held a competition for good seed in BR – VT; nourished best chosen seed and protect asexuality; determine transplant methods and graft stumps; did experiment on the materials to bind and provine, studied some growing stimulants which reduce defoliate; trained for farmers, proposed technique processes.

On behalf of the council,  PhD. Truong Thanh Cong required the head of this project to add project overview and its limitation to make content of the project more clearly. This project was awarded grade fair.
