Cisco Systems Vietnam will train engineers for the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) to build e-government network infrastructures.
The job is part of a memorandum of understanding signed by Cisco Systems Vietnam and the MIC in Hanoi on June 3.
The deal will see the two partners jointly define cooperation areas based on Cisco solutions and technologies to accelerate the application of IT in socio-economic development.
Cisco Systems Vietnam also pledged to help the MIC design its network structures, cooperate in information security and provide a number of public services on a trial basis.
