Ba Ria Vung Tau ranks first in the country in attracting FDI

Vietnam has attracted USD 2.65 million in foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first two months of 2008, an increase of 39% over the same period last year, according to the Foreign Investment Department of the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

Vietnam has attracted USD 2.65 million in foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first two months of 2008, an increase of 39% over the same period last year, according to the Foreign Investment Department of the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
Ba Ria Vung Tau attatracted more than 50% total of investment, although there was only 1 licensed- project.
With the project costs USD 1.3 billion, Ba Ria Vung Tau ranked first in the country in attracting FDI in the first two month of this year.
