VietNamNet Bridge – Ten software products that won prizes at the 17th HCM City Young IT Contest will compete in the National Young IT Competition in the central city of Da Nang from July 29-31.

Winning software products of primary and secondary pupils at HCM City’s IT competition include: 2nd Grade Math software of Truong Dong Phong (3rd grade pupil), Tell Story through Pictures by a group of primary school pupils, Test Compilation, Vietnam Wonder, and LeoPard All In One by secondary school pupils. 

Outstanding software designed by high-school students comprise: Instant Homeworkd Hand In, Online Mine Clear game, Student Management, Chemical Equation Dictionary and Game on Mobile Phone.

The HCM City Young IT Contest 2008 attracted 295 primary, secondary and high-school pupils, who competed in IT knowledge, skills and software design categories.

The city has opened its Young IT Contest to gather and develop a contingent of young IT talents.
