The Department of Science and Technology of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province officially announced 9 petrolleum business enterprises. 9 enterprises which broke violation including: petroll station No. 19 at 15 Tran Hung Dau, ward 1 (Son Hai Co. Ltd.); petroll station 205 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Vung Tau city (Hanh Dung Co. Pte.); Phuoc Tan 5 Petrol Station, Tan Hung commune, Ba Ria town (Le Chinh Co. Pte) ; Petrol Station at Sir Trinh hamlet, Tan Phuoc commune, Tan Thanh district (Vu Anh Co. Ltd.); Tan Long Petrol Station, Chau Pha commune, Tan Thanh district (Hoa Mo Co. Pte.); Binh Gia Petrol Station at 0451, Gia Hoa Yen hamlet, Binh Gia commune, Chau Duc district (Binh Gia Co. Pte.); Kim Long Petrol Station, Kim Long commune, Chau Duc district (Kim Long Construction Co. Pte.); Thao Van Petrol Station at hamlet 4, Hoa Binh commune, Xuyen Moc district (Thao Van Co. Pte.) and Phuoc Buu Petrol Station at Phuoc Buu town, Xuyen Moc district (Hong Long Construction Co. Pte.).
According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Binh, Chief of Inspection of Department of Science and Technology, the above enterprises had violation such as short measure, pumps do not ensure requirements of petrolleum business and techniques which have actual quality lower than announced quality.
The Department requested these enterprises to overcome, replace old pumps which do not ensure techniques and do not business unquality products. And via this inspection, the Inspection of Department of Science and Technology petitioned to intensify sudden inspection to discover timely violation of Measure and Quality field.
At present, the province has 182 petrol enterprises with 852 pumps. Ms. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, said that the Department presently only inspected nearly a half of number of petrolleum enterprises, the remaining ones have been transferred to the Department of Industry and Trade for inspection as instructed by the provincial People’s Committee.
