Vice Chairman of Cisco Group wants to share successful experiences to Viet Nam about bringing Internet to countryside.
On September 22, 2008. Minister Le Doan Hop of Ministry of Infomation and Communication welcomes and work with Mr. Randy Pond - Vice Chairman of Ciso Systems Group. Ministry Le Doan Hop says:"there are two very important fields that Vietnam wants to cooperate with Cisco including IT workforce trainning and IT application development, set up electronic goverment. In that, bringing Internet to countryside is the main plan that Vietnam is carrying out actively because about 75% Vietnam population living in rural places. If we can' + char(39)+ N' + char(39)+ N' + char(39)+ N't attract supporting budgets of important ICT foreign enterprises, we still keep carrrying out this plan but with the slow speed.
At the meeting, Mr.Randy Pond wishes to develop cooperative relationship much more with Ministry of Information and Communication to find out solution of development and change IT system of Cisco that matches to Vietnam' + char(39)+ N' + char(39)+ N' + char(39)+ N's need." About planning to bring Internet to countryside, we are ready to share experiences to cooperate, support Cisco successes at India, China... with Vietnam," says Mr.Randy Pond.
Before that, Ministry of Information and Communication and Ciso Systems signed MOU about development of IT cooperation between two parties.
