IBM Vietnam changes CEO

VietNamNet Bridge – IBM Group today announced it has appointed Vo Tan Long as its new Chief Executive Officers of IBM Vietnam.

Before assuming this post, Vo Tan Long was Vice Deputy General Director of IBM Vietnam, in charge of business with development small and medium-sized enterprises.

Long takes the post from Nguyen Viet Hoang, who held the position since June 2008. IBM didn’t mention the reason for this change.

Long joined IBM Vietnam in early 1997 and since then has taken an important role in establishing and strengthen IBM’s presence in Vietnam.

Long is a doctor of mathematics and physics, graduated from the Saint Petersburg University of Electrical Technology, Russia. He is married and has a daughter.
