The Director of the HCM City Department of Science and Technology, Phan Minh Tan, said the HCM City technology trading floor will focus on IT products.

He explained that IT is the forte of IDG and HCM City has a great demand for this kind of technology.

The technology trading floor will be opened soon to enable scientists and businesses to more easily meet each other and to advertise their products and research works.

“The technology trading floor must be a place that scientists and researchers trust and immediately think of when they have new products,” Tan emphasised.

He said the HCM City Department of Science and Technology will organise major events with the assistance of IDG.

IDG Ventures Vietnam’s representative said the department needs to issue regulations to help researchers and businesses to advertise their products.
