Vietnam’s first solar battery factory will start running on April 27 in Duc Hoa Ha Industrial Complex, in Binh Tien hamlet, Duc Hoa Ha commune, Duc Hoa district, the southern province of Long An.
The HCM City Energy Saving Centre said that in the first phase, the factory will manufacture solar cell panels of 80Wp to 165Wp, which have the average lifespan of 30 years.
These products meet European standards while the prices are 30-40% lower than the retail prices in the local market. The factory can supply solar cell panels of the total capacity of 5Mwp per year.
