Although the weather was not favorable, last night September 06, thousands of Vung Tau people still went out in the rain to participate in the exchange program “Team to light the DK1 Housing Platform" as a word of gratitude to soldiers under the most dangerous position.

That is the name of the art exchange program held yesterday evening September 06, in the Front Beach Triangle area, Vung Tau City by the Tuoi Tre (Youth) Newspaper in collaboration with the Naval Headquarter Zone II and the Provincial Group of Ba Ria – Vung Tau.

Attending at the night exchange were Mr. Vo Van Thuong, Member of Central Party Central Committee, the First Secretary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Party Committee , Head of Public Relations of the Provincial Party Committee; representatives of the Central Department of Propaganda and Training, leaders of Ho Chi Minh city, the Naval Headquarter Zone II , the Provincial Group of Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Tuoi Tre Newspaper; representatives of departments, sections, organizations of the province and 1200 naval soldiers, union members and Vung Tau people.

The art exchange night including three chapters entitled "Team to light the DK1 Housing Platform” was built up meticulously, reappeared the daily activities and difficulties, hard of soldiers on duty to defend DK1 housing platform. The participation of representatives of the soldiers had been on duty in DK1 and their relatives in the exchange night help people understand more the silent sacrifice of soldiers as well as their families in the rear. Through this program, it also lights up the hearts full of love from mainland, the country"s compatriots with contribution of people to illuminate the DK1, encourage soldiers in the DK1 firmly confident under the dangerous position to defend the Fatherland.
