On the 12^th of August 2009, the Provincial Science Council presided by Mr. Truong Thanh Cong, the Director of Science and Technology Department held an inspection test the subjects: "Researching to make up material which is highly capable of oil absorbent from agricultural waste". The subject is presided over by Dr. Nguyen Cuu Khoa – the Institute of Chemical Technology.

During 30 months, the group that carried out the subject has held many experiments on the basis of the main materials which are the waste in agriculture such as: straw, sawdust, coconut fiber ...
