Signing Ceremony of the trilateral MOU for Cooperation

October 27, 2009 at the headquarter of Vietnam Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety (VARANS), Mr. Nguyen Hao Quang, Director of Technical Support Centre for Radiation Safety and Emergency Response (TSC-VARANS) and Mr Ken-Ichiro Nakajima, General Manager, Radiation Systems Sales Engineering Dept. Automation & Solution Business Headquarters of Fuji Electric Systems (FES) Co., Ltd. and Mr. Kunihiko Kitoh, Executive Vice President of OVAL Co., Ltd. jointly signed the MOU for Cooperation. The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of the Director General Ngo Dang Nhan.

Automation & Solution Business Headquarters of Fuji Electric Systems (FES) Co., Ltd. and Mr. Kunihiko Kitoh, Executive Vice President of OVAL Co., Ltd. jointly signed the MOU for Cooperation. The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of the Director General Ngo Dang Nhan.

This trilateral MOU for Cooperation have been signed for the purpose of promoting application of the radiation systems and products of FES (hereinafter referred to as the “Equipment”) to radiation and nuclear safety in Vietnam. Under the terms and conditions of MOU, FES Co., Ltd. shall organize workshops and trainings staffs of TSC-VARANS on application the Equipment to the work of radiation and nuclear safety, maintenance and repair of the Equipment; the parties will promote together the application of the Equipment in activities of radiation and nuclear safety by providing samples of the Equipment and related technical services,

The DD Ngo Dang Nhan said that signing this MOU express the determination of VARANS to promote application of atomic energy for the peaceful purpose and the desire to develop further cooperation with Japan, one of the leading countries in the world for technology in radiation and nuclear safety.
