Leaders of Baria-Vungtau Province field work the eroded coast of Baria-Vungtau

On October 16th, 2009, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Minh-Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Mr. Tran Hong Ha-Deputy Provincial Party Committee Secretary had organized a union of alluvia points, eroded coast of Baria-Vungtau from the area of Loi wharf in Binh Chau (Xuyen Moc), Loc An (Dat Do) to Phuoc Tinh (Long Dien). Accompanied them by Department Directors of Science & Technology, Communication and Transport, Agriculture and Rural Development, Natural Resources and Environment and Secretaries of District Party Committee, Chairmen of Xuyen Moc and Dat Do Districts.

Accompanied them by Department Directors of Science & Technology, Communication and Transport, Agriculture and Rural Development, Natural Resources and Environment and Secretaries of District Party Committee, Chairmen of Xuyen Moc and Dat Do Districts.

The task mission required the Chairman of the project of building the system of dykes and embankments at Loi wharf area (Xuyen Moc) to present the design plan and forecast its result. The mission has carried out a survey of erosion status in the area of Huong Phong Tourist Enterprise, Border Post 492, Ba Kiem Cape (Xuyen Moc) and seaport #2 at south Loc An (Dat Do). Dr. Truong Thanh Cong, Director of Science and Technology Department has reported results of the pilot project applying soft dyke system - Stabiplage – stopping a breach in seaport #1 at south Loc An and prospects of the application this technology against eroded coast of Baria-Vungtau.
