On September 22nd, the Center for Application of Advanced Science and Technology held a training course on safety and control of nuclear radiation. Representatives of departments, businesses related to radiation safety participated in the training course.

In the course, trainees listened to Dr. Dang Duc Nhan - Institute of Science and Nuclear Engineering presenting the basic concepts of ionizing radiation, main forms of ionizing radiation, other kinds of ionizing radiation in nature, quantities to measure in radiation sciences, biological effects of ionizing radiation, especially the biological effects of ionizing radiation characteristic for living organisms. Also at the training course, trainees are guided to ensure safety and security of radioactive sources, radiation equipment frequently meeting in working time and approached to the Atomic Energy Act as well as some of new legal documents in the field  of radiation safety of nuclear.
