On November 24, 2009, Vietnam INFOTERRA Center, under the National Center for Scientific and Technological Information, Ministry of Science and Technology opened the 4-Day Training Course on environmental information 2009 for Vietnam INFOTERRA Network’s Members in Hanoi Capital. Trainees participating in the training course came from Departments of Science and Technology (DOSTs); Environment Agencies; Departments of Natural Resources and Environment (DoNREs) at provinces; environmental research institutes; universities and companies throughout country.
Training course trainees have learned subjects on environmental security; environmental data and sharing environmental information; using economic tools in environmental management; processing, providing environmental information and technological document searching method online.
The knowledge, understanding and effectiveness which trainees have gained during the training time would be helpful for their daily work.
After the course the participants were certificated by Director National Center for Scientific and Technological Information.
