The awards ceremony for the 6th Technical Creativeness Competition of Baria-Vungtau province took place on December 30th, 2009 at the Provincial Committee of the Party meeting hall. Participated in the ceremony are leaders of Baria-Vungtau Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Department of Science and Technology, the provincial Federation of Labor,… and authors participating in the 6th Festival of Technical Creative.  

The 6th Technical Creativeness Competition has 71 solutions participated in 7 fields: Industry, Agriculture - Forestry - Fishery; Environmental protection and rational use of resources; Education - Training; Information Technology; Construction, Transportation geological mines. In which, the resolutions of Education - Training hold the highest percentage with 38 solutions. There were 38 award-winning solutions including two first prize, nine second prizes, 13 third prizes and 14 consolation prizes. Two first prizes were awarded to the solution “Traffic intersection model” of  a group of authors named  Pham Thi Nuong and Doan Nhat Phong, the solution “Washer of octopus materials by method of aeration” of Huynh Minh Tuong.

The 6th Technical Creativeness Competition has been caught attention and direction of leaders at all levels, meeting with an enthusiastic response to participation of all classes of people in the province, so the quality of solutions have been raised, the solutions are being implemented and brought high socio-economic efficiency of applying in the province.

After giving awards, Organization Board mobilized another competition for the year 2010-2011.
