According to the leaders of Nam Con Son Gas Pipeline Company, the Government approved the adjustment on the development plan of Vietnam oil and gas industry in the period to 2015, and direction to 2025, including putting the 2nd Nam Con Son gas pipeline to into operation by 2014.
According to the leaders of Nam Con Son Gas Pipeline Company, the Government approved the adjustment on the development plan of Vietnam oil and gas industry in the period to 2015, and direction to 2025, including putting the 2nd Nam Con Son gas pipeline to into operation by 2014.
Accordingly, PetroVietnam will report the feasibility study on progress of operation, in which it must ensure objectives of national security energy, investment project needs to build a safe distance between the two pipelines, ensure construction and operation, exploitation without lost time injury.
It is known that the Nam Con Son gas pipeline system invested by Petro Vietnam and foreign partners under the legal form of business cooperation contract. Since 0 1 January 2008, PetroVietnam has received the right of operating Nam Con Son gas pipeline joint venture. This pipeline is nearly 400km in length including offshore and onshore, transporting gas from Block 06-1 (Lan Tay - Lan Do fields) in the Nam Con Son basin, Phu My industrial zone. The 2nd Nam Con Son gas pipeline is expected to invest along the 1st Nam Con Son gas pipeline.
