In order to create a friendly and hospitable atmosphere, in the morning of July 18, more than 40 youth volunteers of the World Food Festival 2010 had a bicycle parade on the main roads of Vung Tau city to promote the festival. In the traditional costumes of countries participating in the festival such as China, Spain, India, Malaysia ... and imprinted festival-logo costumes, the youth had in turn gone through streets: Thuy Van, Hoang Hoa Tham, Tran Hung Dao ... , delivered leaflets and propaganda of the festival content to citizens and visitors.

According to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Le Xuan Tho, Technical Chairman of the Ba Ria – Vung Tau Military Command, so far, the plan of fireworks shooting in honour of the World Food Festival 2010 is deploying as scheduled to ready serving people and tourists in the evening of July 24. Within 15 minutes, fireworks will be let off in each stage and topic. In particular, stage 1 with the theme "Welcome the World Food Festival 2010", stage 2 with the theme "Great circle of unity" and stage 3 was entitled "Sublimation", is ended by a colorful silver rain.

To ensure security and order during the festival, Mr. Ho Van Nien - Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee - requested the market control agencies to strengthen management, inspection and control of price issues, in which special attention to check the cost of car and motorbike keeping in the parking area at the festival area. Accordingly, the market control agencies must strictly fine cases which raise the cost of keeping over VND5000 / motorbike and VND20,000 / car in the duration of the festival, from July 21 to 25.
