The Government chief recently ratified a project on agricultural development and two others on sewage treatment in the Northwestern region and the southern province of Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu respectively.

The AU$ 1,184,000 non-refundable project sponsored by the Australian Center for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) aims at removing technical and market barriers to cow breeding in the Northwestern region of Việt Nam.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development was assigned to finalize necessary procedures and implement the project. 

The Government chief also gave nods to two sewage treatment projects in Long Điền District and Vũng Tàu City in the southern province of Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu. The non-refundable projects were funded by the Spanish Government and will be conducted in the period of 2008-2012.  

The Ministry of Planning and Investment will instruct the realization of these projects./.
