According to report of Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, from 2006-2010, province had 13 projects, which have put into use, with total implement capital of VND 1,698 billion and USD 23.5 million.

In 2010 only, there are 5 projects which were be constructed, they are: Hong Quang Tourism area (Long Dien district), Hong Phuc Tourism area stage 2 (Xuyen Moc district), International Elder Resort (Xuyen Moc district), Vung Tau city has 2 projects: Intourco resort and Blue Sapphire tourism area.

Among 13 projects which put into operation, some of them be built for serving foreigners and customers who have high-income, such as: Binh Chau-Ho Coc tourism area, Tropicana resort, Ho Tram Beach resort& spa, 5star standard The Imperial hotel, Sixsenses Con Dao…
