On November 5th Center for Application of Advanced Science and Technology BR-VT in collaboration with Farmers' Association of Ward 12 Vungtau city checked before acceptance the technological experimental development project of using SUPER VS microorganisms in commercial shrimp ponds at household of Mr. Nguyen Van Tuoi, Ward 12, Vungtau. City.
After 5 months using of SUPER VS microorganisms over shripmp-pond area 6.000m2 with density of 20 shrimps/m2, the investment cost total is more than 176 million (in which the state supports apartial of shrimp-food and breeding shrimp). Mr. Nguyen Van Tuoi has harvested 1.7 tons of commercial shrimp, net revennue about 70 million VN dong.
The using of Supper VS microorganisms to reduce toxic gases accumulate in shrimp ponds has helped increasing health and disease resistance of shrimps. Center held a training-field, transferring technical process for farmers in the region.
