At the end of Oct. the Agricultural Services Cooperative Phuoc Hai (Tan Thanh district) has received enough 3000 cross-breeding tomatoes from Center for Application of Advanced Science and Technology, and has passed two members of  Cooperative Phuoc Hai to scatter seed for growth in testing.

Remarkable properties of cross-breeding tomato are fast growing and  giving higher yields than conventional tomato. Simultaneously, cross-breeding tomato has got disease resistance of wither and fall off. If testing is successful the model will give an average yield of 10-12 kg per one plant. The harvest time is from 4-5 months. Net profit can get up to 50 million VN dong /ha.
