The first technical symposium on information and communications cooperation between Việt Nam and the Republic of Korea is taking place in Hà Nội from December 14-16.

On the occasion, the Korean Information and Communications Society (KICS), the professional institute for the Republic of Korea's diverse group of communications technology specialists dedicated to foster the advancement of communication science and industry, decided to establish its branch in Việt Nam.

Prof. Eun-Soo Kim, President of the KICS, said the opening of the Hà Nội branch is to expand cooperation between Việt Nam and the Republic of Korea, facilitating the exchange of experience in information technology academically and practically.
