In 2010, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province granted investment licenses to 94 projects, included 56 domistic projects with total registed capital of VND 41.443 billion.

With this result, the number of projects invested in province exceeded 195% plan, ups 33.3% over 2009 and ups 241% plan, rised 80.7% of capital.

In 2010, the numbers of new foreign direct investment (FDI) projects be attracted in 2010 were 38, exceeded 30.3% plan, equal 38% over 2009.

Also in 2010, the province also baned before schedule and withdraw investment license of 16 projects with total capital of USD 765 million.
