On 22 January, at Hoa Long commune, Ba Ria town, Ria – Vung Tau Drainage and Sewage Company (Busadco) held the medal award ceremony to receive the First - Class Labor Medal and merit of the Prime Minister on the scientific technological innovation achievements. At the same time, inaugurated the precast concrete plant for using in technical infrastructure and environmental protection. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Tuan Minh - member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Minh Sanh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the BR-VT People’s Committee; Mr. Tran Thanh Binh, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Le Dinh Tien, Deputy Minister of Science, Technology; and representatives of ministries and central departments and branches of the provincial unions.

Experiencing seven years in operation, so far BUSADCO has researched and successfully applied many scientific works, including five projects won high awards for national and international scientific – technological innovation awards, oriented to serve people"s welfare, public service, contributing significantly to investment in development of technical infrastructure and environmental protection. Currently, 19 scientific – technological products of BUSADCO have been widely applied in 30/63 provinces and cities nationwide, and exported to Malaysia. Especially, 7 provinces and cities issued guidelines on applying BUSADCO technological products in their territories. These creative scientific – technological works which have helped to improve the percentage of sales from scientific – technological products are accounted for more than 85% of the total annual turnover of the company. Particularly in 2010, BUSADCO’s sales reached VND253 billion, up 56 times compared with 2004, paid to the State budget VND2.5 billion, up 17 times as compared with 2004. At present, the average income of employees in the company reached VND6.8 million / person/ month, increased 4 times in comparison with 2004.

At the ceremony, authorized by the State President, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Minh awarded the first - class Labor Medal to the collective staff, workers of BUSADCO; Mr. Tran Minh Sanh awarded the first - class Labor Medal to Mr. Hoang Duc Thao, Chairman of BUSADCO’s Board of Directors.

On this occasion, BUSADCO inaugurated the precast concrete plant Ba Ria town. This is the fifth plant of BUSADCO, equipped with modern equipment, machinery to produce BUSADCO’s technological products of BUSADCO in order to serve needs of customers in and outside the province.
