On February 25, 2011, Provincially Scientific and Technological Committee organized a meeting to select and approve investment projects for improvement of wastewater treatment systems to fund partially financial assistance
Project: “investing in improving wastewater treatment system of aquatic product processing plant (Surimi) with capacity of 250m3/day at Phước An company Ltd.”
Project: “Investing in improving wastewater treatment system of aquatic product processing plant (Surimi) with capacity of 600m3/day at Thu Trọng I Aquatic Product Processing company Ltd.”
Project: “Investing in improving domestic wastewater treatment system with capacity of 50m3/day at Maxim’s - Hữu Nghị restaurant”

Objectives of the projects are to study scientific basis to find out suitably technological models to treat wastewater discharged by aquatic product processing plants, design and construct wastewater treatment works, train personnel in charge of management, operation of wastewater treatment systems. Thanks to that activities which contribute significant part to environmental protection achievements and economic development towards sustainable trend.
Projects applied for partially financial assistance all met criteria to be funded to implement.
