On April 19 – 20, 2011, The Ba ria – Vung tau Branch for Standards, Metrology and Quality (Department of Science and Technology) organized a training course on 2011 National Quality Award and announced a list of Members of Provincial Board for Pre-qualification of 2011 National Quality Award in order to examine and select enterprises of Ba ria – Vung tau Province and then decide on the short-listed candidates nominated for 2011 National Quality Award.

On April 19 – 20, 2011, The Ba ria – Vung tau Branch for Standards, Metrology and Quality (Department of Science and Technology) organized a training course on 2011 National Quality Award and announced a list of Members of Provincial Board for Pre-qualification of 2011 National Quality Award in order to examine and select enterprises of Ba ria – Vung tau Province and then decide on the short-listed candidates nominated for 2011 National Quality Award.

During the training period, participants were introduced with legal documents regarding National Quality Award, such as Law on Product and Goods Quality, Decree No. 132/2008/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2008 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Product and Goods Quality and Circular No. 11/2009/TT-BKHCN dated May 6, 2009 of the Minister of Science and Technology defining National Quality Award.

Besides, participants has also been equipped with skills required to enterprises at establishment of the report which is applied for National Quality Award, information about National Quality Award, such as criteria for National Quality Award, skills at writing a report required to enterprise to introduce yourself and to self-assess in comparison with 07 criteria for National Quality Award, assessment activities of Boards of National Quality Award

Basically, by participating in the training course, participants have been equipped with essential and sufficient information about implementation of National Quality Award.  Besides, they also have been provided with methods, ways, skills at establishing enterprise’s report in terms of approaching 07 criteria for National Quality Award and introducing yourself, .ect… As a result of that, activities within framework of National Quality Award in Ba ria – Vung tau Province will be enhanced and implemented sufficiently.
