In June 2011, the industrial production value of BR-VT province (excluding crude oil and fuel gas) reached more than VND4,753 billion, up nearly 22% over the previous month.

In June 2011, the industrial production value of BR-VT province (excluding crude oil and fuel gas) reached more than VND4,753 billion, up nearly 22% over the previous month. Of which: the State-owned enterprises reached more than VND1,718 billion, foreign-owned enterprises achieved more than VND2,140 billion, and non-State-owned enterprises reached over VND894 billion. Generally, in the first six months of this year, the industrial production value of the province (excluding crude oil and fuel gas) is worth of about VND23,000 billion, up 14.45% as against that of the same period last year.

According to the assessment of the Department of Industry and Trade, in the first six months of 2011, in spite of the impact of prolonged inflation, rising prices of raw materials and input costs, the value of industrial production in the province is in recovery and continued growth. Products are generally sold well, just in stock at the levels of each commodity, have not any phenomenon caused by holdup. There were 19/28 products grew over the same period, including 15 products grew higher than the average rate like steel, steel embryo, NPK fertilizer, oil drums, PVC, leather, leatherette , seafood, ice, water, wind tower, wrapping paper, beer, flour and cement. The remaining products had the low growth rate, no increase or decrease over the same period.
